This is the highest award a group of volunteers can get and is the equivalent of an MBE.

It is in recognition of all the work we have done at the Abbey and in the community.

                                        The citation on the award reads:

                "For Breathing life into the Abbey and Boosting the village"

This is an award for everyone in our group past & present who has worked tirelessly over the past 8 years either at the Abbey or at the many events we have organised.
